Jon Gartenberg Presents a Selection of Warren Sonbert's Films at NYPL for World Aids Day
/In memorializing Worlds AIDS Day, this screening of 16mm film prints from the Reserve Film and Video Collection pays tribute to Warren Sonbert, one of the seminal figures of American experimental film. Archivist and guest curator Jon Gartenberg, who has worked extensively on preserving and furthering this unique artist’s legacy, will present Hall of Mirrors (1966), Noblesse Oblige (1981), Friendly Witness (1989) and Whiplash (1995/1997).
