Germaine Dulac Screened at Il Cinema Ritrovato Festival

The 34th edition of Il Cinema Ritrovato Festival is presenting Germaine Dulac’s LA FÊTE ESPAGNOLE (THE SPANISH FESTIVAL, 1920) and LA BELLE DAME SANS MERCI (THE BEAUTIFUL LADY WITHOUT MERCY, 1921) August 28 & 29.

GME distributes Dulac’s LA CIGARETTE (1919), LA SOURIANTE MME. BEUDET (1922) and her classic THE SEASHELL AND THE CLERGYMAN (LA COQUILLE ET LE CLERGYMAN, 1927), the first surrealist film and the winner of the festival’s 2010 DVD award for Best Critical Research on a DVD, in addition to these other Il Cinema Ritrovato Festival award winning DVDS.
